FVCC seeks mentors for college students
Flathead Valley Community College is seeking businesses and organizations interested in mentoring student interns this spring.
Students need mentors for internships in criminal justice, graphic design, information technology, Web technology, medical administrative assisting and medical coding.
Interns need learning opportunities for 140 hours during the college’s spring semester that continues through May 13.
Benefits of mentoring students include adding to the work environment motivated and energetic students who have skills and experience relevant to their fields; helping develop the local workforce by helping students learn and gain experiences; providing the college feedback regarding the skill sets necessary to succeed in the industry; and receiving assistance to help complete projects.
