Flathead County boards have two open positions

Volunteers are being sought for two boards that work on Flathead County issues.

One opening is for a representative from the Middle Fork area for the fire service area advisory board. That term would begin immediately and expire Dec. 31, 2013.

Interested people are asked to apply by the end of the day Thursday, July 28.

The second opening is for a resident of commission district 1 on the road advisory committee. Applications for that board are due by the end of the day Monday, Aug. 1.

To apply for either board, people should submit a letter of interest, including their qualifications, to the Flathead County commissioners, 800 S. Main St., Kalispell 59901. For more information about the boards’ tasks, call 758-5563.
