Husband allegedly vandalized vehicle

A woman reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday that her vehicle was being vandalized in the alley behind a Montana 35 address in Bigfork. She said her husband was flattening the tires on her vehicle.

A vehicle apparently left the highway on U.S. 93 north of Kalispell and rammed through the fence at a car lot halfway to Whitefish. The vehicle was reportedly found later, but not the driver.

A woman reported that she accidentally left a credit card at a Flathead Valley business recently, and now it is being used for purchases in Louisiana.

There was a report of items being stolen from a house on Blackmer Lane.

A woman reported that two bicycles were stolen off the porch of her Coram Stage Road home.

There was a report from Lesley Avenue in Somers regarding a boat being vandalized by someone who sprayed it down with a fire extinguisher even though there was no fire.

At about 2:45 p.m., there was a report of a woman staggering up to the counter at a gas station on Third Avenue East North in Kalispell. After she was later located and tested for possible drunk driving, she clamed that she was having a heart attack and was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment. After it was determined she was not having a heart attack, she was arrested for drunk driving and taken to jail.

Someone reported finding two marijuana plants in five-gallon drums that were located near a turnoff of the North Fork Road.

There was a report of cash being stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Bierney Creek Road.

There was a report of a vehicle being vandalized while it was parked near the Devil’s Elbow on the South Fork of the Flathead River.

A woman calling from a South Woodland Drive residence reported that a teenager stole her child’s skateboard.

A man called to report that his daughter was beaten up by her husband at a Gordon Lane residence in the Columbia Falls area. The parties involved could not be immediately located.

There was a report of a wallet being stolen from a vehicle on U.S. 2 east in the Evergreen area.

A woman called to report that someone in a vehicle occupied by three juveniles threw a balloon filled with white liquid at her vehicle on Three Mile Drive, hitting it in the windshield. She pursued the other car and when she confronted the juveniles on Empire Loop, two of them ran away. The driver of their car claimed he told the others not to throw the balloon.

There was a report of an expensive item being stolen from a business in Martin City, with several individuals fleeing in a vehicle that was later stopped by a deputy. The matter is under investigation.

Early Wednesday, at about 12:45 a.m., there was a report of loud booms and possible flames coming from a structure on Hungry Deer Lane in the Bigfork area. A deputy and the Creston Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.

Someone reported to Kalispell Police that they had found a large amount of cash near the intersection of Northern Lights Boulevard and Three Mile Drive Tuesday.

A juvenile male who fled from an officer in the Woodland Park area was arrested and later released to the custody of his parents.

There was a report of a Chevy Camaro possibly being stolen after it was parked near Hutton Ranch Road. The vehicle may have been towed from that location.

There was a report of a bicycle being stolen from an address on Fourth Avenue West.

After a physical disturbance between a man and woman at a Rosewood Drive address, the man was arrested on a warrant.

A man was arrested on a warrant after a pedestrian stop on Glenwood Drive.

There was a report of a disorderly man pounding on a neighbor’s door and kicking vehicles at a hotel on North Main Street.

Early Wednesday, at about 12:50 a.m., a woman was cited for shoplifting from a business on Hutton Ranch Road.

In Glacier National Park Wednesday, there was a report of a woman being injured after falling from a horse about two miles from Lake McDonald Lodge.

There was also a report of someone suffering a broken leg near Red Rock Point, which is located several miles beyond Avalanche Campground on Going-to-the-Sun Road.
