All-State softball honors for Franklin, Quay, Alberts

Several local athletes have been honored as members of the Class AA All-State and All-Conference softball teams.

Members of the Western AA All-State team are Glacier catcher Brittany Franklin and outfielder Baylee Quay and Flathead utility player Sidney Alberts.

Franklin and Quay are both seniors while Alberts is a sophomore.

Franklin, Quay and Alberts were also first- team All-Conference selections.

Members of the All-Conference second team are Glacier's Jessie Compton (pitcher), Jena Willis (third base) and Megan Connolly (outfield). Compton and Connolly are seniors, Willis is a sophomore.

Honorable mention are Flathead's Julia Morrow (outfield), Taylor Twichel (outfield), Alisha Lingle (first base) and Glacier's Paige Latimer (shortstop).

Morrow and Twichel are both juniors, Lingle and Latimer are both seniors.
