Several vehicles targeted in break-ins

Kalispell Police got a report Thursday afternoon regarding multiple vehicle break-ins with items stolen on the south end of First, Third and Fourth avenues west.

A man called from North Main Street, reporting that he hit a person riding a bicycle. There was no injury or damage, however, and the bicyclist rode away from the scene.

A man called from Fourth Avenue West requesting that a woman who has been staying with him for about a week be removed from his place. He said he let her stay because she is homeless, but she had become intoxicated and annoying. She was removed from the residence.

There was a report of a man who appeared to be intoxicated kicking and severely beating a pit bull on First Avenue West and First Street West Thursday night. The dog was confiscated and taken to the county animal shelter.

Friday, a man called from Second Avenue West to report that he suspects his dog had been sprayed with pepper. The dog had been kept in a fenced yard and for days has been scratching its eyes. The man wanted to know if there have been similar incidents in the area.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from an employee at a school on Commerce Street in Bigfork who said a 16-year-old girl was attacked by three other teenage girls. The victim did not want to pursue charges.

A pocket knife was confiscated from a child at a school on West Evergreen Drive.

Fraud was alleged by someone on Tamarack Lane in Columbia Falls who said an Ohio resident was using a teenage boy’s Social Security number.

A possible theft of a wedding ring was reported on Managhan Lane.

An employee at a business on U.S. 2 East was caught stealing by surveillance cameras.

Criminal mischief was reported by a man on McCaffery Road in Bigfork who said someone cut down trees on his property.

A woman on Four Mile Drive said she was assaulted by her husband.

Youths were seen throwing firecrackers in an alley near Woodland Park Drive.

Child pornography was reportedly found on a computer near U.S. 2 East outside Columbia Falls.

A woman reported that she found a boat stolen three years ago in a storage unit on Helena Flats Road.

A man on Lake Five Road in West Glacier said someone intentionally put screws under his tire, causing it to go flat.

Two bikini-clad females were accused of “flashing” a passing motorist on Ringneck Drive.
