According Public Affairs Officer Ellen Blickhan the park experienced an above average winter and spring in terms of precipitation. The National Parks Service has no current estimate on when Logan Pass will be open to the public.

A rotary plow shoots out snow from Sun Road on Wednesday. Bulldozers and excavators first are used to clear the snow down to a level of between four and five feet. At that point the rotary plow comes in to finish clearing the road.
