One (purloined) beer too many?

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded after a man who stole a 24-ounce beverage from a business on Woodland Park Drive Monday returned later in the day and stole a second beverage. An employee said the man — described as having curly blonde hair and a “beer belly” — yelled at her when she approached him. Deputies found him nearby and arrested him.

Someone wrapped vehicles in toilet paper on Saint Andrews Drive in Columbia Falls. Another vehicle was damaged, according to a separate report.

A caller on Stoner Creek Road accused neighbors of stealing firewood.

Medications and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked on Haydens View.

A caller on South Cedar Drive reported that a bicycle was stolen two weeks ago.

Two intoxicated people drinking at a bar on First Avenue South in Martin City reported that a dog named “Max” was missing.

A woman on Badrock Drive said she is being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.

Suspicious activity was reported on Forest Hill Road after a driver saw a child appearing to be between 9- and 11-years-old driving an SUV. Deputies were unable to find the underage driver.

A man on Montana 35 said his ex-wife was threatening him and calling him names in front of their children.

Someone burglarized a trailer on Kienas Road.

At a home on Montana 35, a woman said someone stole $150 from her wallet.

A woman was accused of beating her dog in a yard on Shady Lane in Evergreen.

Items were stolen from behind a shop on North Riding Road.

A woman on  Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse was arrested after someone reported she was intoxicated and “trying to beat people up.”

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a possible road rage incident at the intersection of U.S. 93 North and Sunny View Lane. One driver said he or she pulled over after accidentally cutting off the driver of a green four-door vehicle. The driver of that car allegedly displayed a handgun before leaving the area.

A resident of Fourth Avenue West accused neighbors of harassment.

Someone side-swiped a vehicle parked on Fifth Avenue West North in an apparent hit-and-run collision.

Nothing was missing from a home on Fourth Avenue East after a resident reported an apparent burglary.

A speeding vehicle nearly hit a child in a parking lot at Woodland Park.

Officers arrested a man on Third Avenue West after a woman reported that he attempted to break into her home at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police were called after a resident of Appleway Drive said a 9-year-old boy was teaching other youths to smoke cigarettes and threatening to set their bicycle tires on fire. He also allegedly had a knife. An officer spoke to the boy’s parents.

A man on Eighth Avenue West was accused of threatening to shoot at a house and vehicle where his ex-girlfriend and her children were staying.

An 8-year-old boy was reunited with his mother after he showed up at an address on Second Avenue East and said he forgot where he lives.

Several teenagers were seen “surfing on top of cars” and passing around paraphernalia at Woodland Park, according to a caller. They were gone when an officer went to the scene.

An Xbox was stolen at a home on Eighth Avenue West. The owner suspected the thief was a former roommate.

A bicycle was stolen on Third Avenue West.

An intoxicated man on Hilltop Avenue was advised to call again when he is sober after he attempted to report the theft of a laptop computer.

Suspicious activity was reported on Sylvan Drive after a man was seen wearing a bandana over his face.

One person suffered a neck injury after a two-vehicle collision on Grandview Drive.
