Intimacy unwelcome at church

Flathead County Sheriff deputies responded to a call at a church on Montana 35 where a couple of “young kids” were discovered having intercourse at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday. The two fled the scene but identities were discovered. They were counseled with parents in attendance.

A pair of skis were stolen Sunday from the day lodge on Big Mountain Road.

A man complained that another man on a snowmobile continues to trespass on his road in Kila. An altercation ensued and one alleged the other threatened to cut him with a knife. The suspect left by the time a deputy arrived.

Deputies responded to a parenting problem at 7 p.m. Sunday on Terry Road. The daughter said her mother kicked her out of the house wearing a tank top and no shoes. She went to a neighbor’s house. Deputy decided to place them in different houses until tempers cooled.

Around 8:07 p.m.  Sunday a woman reported that she had been assaulted by her ex-husband on Drake Drive.

At about 8:15 p.m. Sunday, a caller on Blaine View Drive complained about his/her 30-year-old son punching holes in the wall and throwing pictures. He left with his 12-year-old daughter. They were located later at Wayfarer’s State Park.

At 8:36 p.m. Sunday, a mobile caller reported that a woman running down U.S. 93 North with a man chasing her had tried to jump in the car, and then asked if she could get in the car. The man chasing her then grabbed her coat and they both got in another car. Contact was later made with the quarreling couple who described the chase as a verbal family dispute.

A reddish horse wandered on to Montana 35 early Monday, causing a hazard near Many Lakes.

Montana Highway Patrol officers responded to two accidents with injuries on Sunday. Both took place on U.S. 93 near Stelle Lane at 7:08 p.m. and 7:28 p.m.

Kalispell Police received a complaint Monday of an overly friendly yellow lab visiting children on Fifth Avenue West and knocking over the 4-year-old. The officer found the dog on a porch and decided to let sleeping dogs lie.

Police received a report of someone trying to order a large amount of food from a business on Sunny View Lane with a bad credit card. He then tried to use another one and have money sent through Western Union.  

A woman apparently accidentally sent a photo by text to a person who lives on First Avenue East, who complained to Kalispell Police. The content of the photo was not revealed.

Another person who lives on Sixth Avenue West complained Monday that his/her 13-year-old daughter received a pornographic photo on her cell phone from a stranger. Officers are investigating.

An employee of a business on Sixth Street West witnessed a woman slapping a 6-year-old across the face. Officers counseled the woman.
