Kalispell students who haven't yet found the perfect prom attire might try looking at the Crosstown Closet.

The closet, located in the basement of the Linderman Educational Center, has about 30 dresses, several suits and men's and women's shoes in a variety of sizes available, store co-founder Carrie Power said.

All items in the store are free to Kalispell students.

With prom scheduled for March 19 at Flathead and Glacier high schools, time is running out for students to browse the Crosstown Closet's selection.

The store is open from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Students who can't make either of those times may set up an appointment with Power at Glacier High School or co-founder Sylvia Heselwood at Flathead High School.

E-mail Power at powerc@sd5.k12.mt.us or Heselwood at heselwoods@sd5.k12.mt.us.
