Pit bull's friendship unwelcome

A woman reported to Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies that a pit bull jumped into the back of her car at Lone Pine, and would not get out of the car. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

After a woman reported being assaulted by her husband Saturday night and again Sunday morning in the Evergreen area, deputies ended up taking her to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment and later located and arrested the man on East Evergreen Drive.

There was a report from Glacier Park International Airport regarding a man who tried to board a plane with marijuana and an expired medical marijuana card.

There were two reports of snowboards stolen at the Big Mountain.

A woman called from a Conrad Drive address to report that her 15-year-old son’s wallet, along with $700, had been stolen during a sleepover.

A woman called from an East Lakeshore Drive address in the Whitefish area to report that $300 had been stolen from her coat.

After a verbal disturbance at a Dover Drive address, a woman called to report that she wanted her drunk husband removed from the residence.

Monday, Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said an autopsy has been completed related to the Saturday death of an 11-month-old girl at an Evergreen residence. Curry said the preliminary report from the State Crime Lab in Missoula are consistent with the conclusion that the girl died of an accidental drowning in a bathtub. The girl was left in the tub with a 3-year-old sibling momentarily by their father, who attempted resuscitation before emergency personnel arrived.

Kalispell Police got a theft report from the 700 block of Fifth Avenue East Sunday, involving a rifle being stolen from a vehicle sometime over the last few days.

Monday, there was a report from Glacier High School involving a student that had overdosed on an unknown medication. The student was transported by ambulance to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Responding to a report of a possible drunken driver, an officer located the suspect vehicle at a grocery store on West Idaho. The vehicle was determined to be unsafe to drive and was towed, and it was unclear if there was a drunk-driving arrest.
