Officer uses Taser to subdue suspect

A Kalispell Police Department officer Tasered a man who fled a hotel on U.S. 93 South where officers had arrived at about 8:48 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle on Montana 35. The stolen vehicle was later found and returned to its owner.

An officer arrested a 20-year-old man after seeing him urinate near a patrol car on Third Avenue East North at about 9 p.m. Monday. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct, minor in possession of alcohol and unlawful use of a driver’s license.

A cellular phone was reported stolen on U.S. 93 South. The owner said a GPS unit in the phone showed it was somewhere on Third Avenue West.

A vehicle was reported stolen on Sixth Avenue West North.

Harassment was alleged on Third Avenue West where a woman said she was being watched by the president of a housing association who has a problem with her smoking cigarettes.

Theft was alleged at a business on Hutton Ranch Road where a man reported that a woman stole his tax information and was fired for it.

Officers returned a 15-year-old girl to her home on Seventh Avenue West after she was reported as a runaway.

Theft was reported at a business on West Idaho Street at about 8:23 p.m. Monday after a juvenile allegedly walked out a backdoor with beer.

A stolen vehicle was found in a ditch off of U.S. 93 South.

A juvenile was arrested for distribution of dangerous drugs at Glacier High School on Wolfpack Way.

A Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputy filed a report after speaking with someone on Parker Hill Road outside Columbia Falls who said a neighbor etched a threatening message in the snow.

Theft was alleged on West Cottonwood Drive where a woman said she had found her son’s bicycle behind a neighbor’s trailer at about 4:46 p.m. Monday. The bike was returned to the boy after the deputy found a serial number that matched a receipt.

Suspicious activity was reported on Park Drive in Evergreen where a caller said a neighbor was burning rabbit feces.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported on Forest Drive. An iPod was stolen from one vehicle and fishing gear was taken from another. Both vehicles were unlocked.

A woman on River Drive in Hungry Horse reported receiving a death threat on her cell phone.

An employee at a business on Birch Grove Road said a customer was sexually harassing her.

After someone reported a possible drunk driver on US. 2 West, a deputy found the vehicle in a parking lot and deemed that it was unsafe to drive. The vehicle was towed.

Trespassing was alleged on First Avenue North in Olney where a man said snowmobiles were accessing his property without permission.

A verbal disturbance was reported at about 3:47 p.m. Monday on Pioneer Road where a woman said a man stole $20 from her. The man was demanding that the woman move her vehicle. A deputy determined it was a civil issue between a landlord and a tenant.

A woman was accused of walking into a home on First Avenue Northeast in Hungry Horse Monday at about 6:55 p.m. and punching her boyfriend in the leg.

The Whitefish Police Department receiving noise complaints on Aspen Court and Wisconsin Avenue.

Theft was alleged by someone on Baker Avenue.
