Keith George Williams, 70

Keith George Williams, 70, of Big Arm, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Polson, after a three-year battle with cancer. His courage and strength were always present during this difficult time.

He was born on June 29, 1949, in Surrey, England. At age 16, he became an apprentice hairdresser and remained in this profession for 40 years. In 1973, he came to the United States, living and working in the Los Angeles area until 1994. The next year, he and his wife, Sharon, then moved to Montana, residing in Big Arm.

He was an avid golfer and loved playing with his buddies at the Polson Bay Golf Club. When not playing golf, he was cheering on the teams of the European Premier Soccer League.

Not known by many, he was a Free Mason with the Knightsbridge Lodge in London.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katherine Williams.

Keith is survived by his wife, Sharon; and his uncle, Brian Blamey, of Surrey, England.

A celebration of life party will be held in May on a date to be determined.
