Man arrested after making threats

Kalispell Police arrested a man and took him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center at 10:16 a.m. Sunday after he allegedly threatened to kill family members and law enforcement officers if they approached his home on North Meridian Road. The man allegedly had a rifle and threatened to kill himself. The man came out of the home with his hands up at around 10:09 a.m. Residences on Rosewood Drive were evacuated and a road was blocked off.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at 8:41 a.m. Sunday after a blue Honda was hit in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue West.

Someone threw a rock through the right rear window of a Ford Ranger pickup in the 500 block of Ninth Avenue West on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Some juveniles allegedly keyed a vehicle outside the mall on North Main Street around 3 p.m. Saturday.

A large black pickup was involved in a hit-and-run outside the mall on North Main Street at 3:08 p.m. Saturday.

A woman was allegedly harassing people about a protection order on Grandview Drive at 4:55 p.m. Saturday.

A gray 1978 Chevrolet pickup was reported stolen Saturday afternoon from outside a business in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road. The vehicle had apparently been towed. The owner had gone "snowcatting" and found the vehicle missing upon his return.

Someone complained about unlicensed four-wheelers racing up and down Meridian Road and Fourth Street West at 7 p.m. Saturday.

A fight ensued in the 900 block of Third Avenue West at 11:22 p.m. Saturday after a basement flooded and belongings were destroyed. Parties were counseled.

A woman was cited and released after police responded to a disorderly conduct call on Woodland Park Drive at 11:49 p.m. Saturday.

A man reported that someone pried open a window in his home and took a Blu-Ray disc, backpack and change jar either Saturday night or Sunday morning in the 200 block of Ninth Avenue West.

A female was cited and released as a minor in possession of alcohol at 5:57 a.m. Sunday after police responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 200 block of Woodland Avenue.

A daughter in the 400 block of Liberty Street reported that her father was in casinos over the weekend in contradiction to a court order. The man also allegedly threatened to shoot anyone if they came to his house.

Some people were allegedly smoking crack in a blue van in the 100 block of Ninth Avenue West at 7:51 a.m. Sunday.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office responded to fights on Old Fox Trail at 1:16 a.m. Sunday and Trails End Drive at 9:44 p.m. Saturday.

Threats were made on Robocker Lane at 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

Criminal mischief was reported on Big Mountain Road at 9:44 p.m. Saturday.

Harassment was reported on Political Hill in Lakeside at 7:03 p.m. Saturday.

Threats were made on Badrock Lane in Columbia Falls at 12:38 p.m. Saturday.

An animal was at large on Klondyke Loop in Somers at 9:27 a.m.

A vehicle was abandoned in the 1000 block of East Idaho Street at 1:46 a.m. Saturday.

Lake County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 27-year-old man for assault after he got into a fight with another man at a bar in Polson at 1:55 a.m. Saturday. One of the men was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Polson.

A 23-year-old woman was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Polson after a two-vehicle accident at 3:59 a.m. Saturday on Eli Gap and Red Angus roads near Kerr Dam in the Polson area.

A Polson diner reported Saturday morning that someone stole a sidewalk sign.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant out of Missoula County at 8:18 a.m. Saturday.

Whitefish Police responded to a theft on U.S. 93 South at 7 p.m. Saturday.

A burglary was reported on Montana Avenue at 8:35 p.m. Saturday.

A fight was reported on Central Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Sunday.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man for driving under the influence at 10:42 p.m. Saturday in Pablo.

An injury accident occurred at 2:14 a.m. Sunday at Cottage Lane near Kila Road.
