Facebook account had false face?

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of fraud from a woman on Liberty Street who said her ex-husband created a Facebook account in her name, posted revealing photographs and was impersonating her by communicating with her family and friends on the social networking website.

An officer gave a woman and her son a ride home after an employee at a business on Third Avenue West reported the woman appeared to be intoxicated.

Suspicious activity was reported on North Main Street where a man was seen walking and shouting for no apparent reason.

An officer cited the driver of a truck on Heritage Way for parking in a handicap-designated space after a man reported he and his wheelchair-bound mother were forced to park down the block because no spaces were available.

On Boise Avenue, a woman reported that her daughter’s iPod was stolen by her nephew.

A woman on Third Avenue West said her ex-husband was harassing her and her boyfriend at a school function.

Criminal mischief was reported on North Meridian Road where a man reported that someone slashed one of his vehicle’s tires.

A woman on U.S. 93 North reported suspicious activity after a man approached her adult daughter and gave her $50. An officer determined that no crime was committed.

Suspicious activity was reported on Merganser Drive after a resident reported hearing an explosion. An officer responded and found that someone had barricaded the road. No suspects were located.

An off-duty Ronan police officer followed a suspected drunk driver from U.S. 93 South to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He learned the occupants of the vehicle were an elderly couple who were having trouble seeing.

Animal cruelty was reported on Vanderbilt Drive where a man said his dog died and that he found a suspicious hard-boiled egg in his yard. He said he suspects a neighbor poisoned the dog.

A woman on First Avenue East accused her daughter of stealing $10 from her.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded after a woman on River’s End Road near Bigfork reported finding an unknown woman sleeping under a tree in her backyard.

A man on Helena Flats Road said he was awakened by a woman screaming at him and that she stole his phone and hit him with her vehicle as she was driving away. The man was not injured.

Beer was stolen from a cooler during an aparent burglary on Big Mountain Road.

A man on Batavia Lane said he stopped to help a man who yelled and waved at him as he drove by. He said the elderly man then screamed and threatened him. A deputy spoke to the man, who said he was angry about people speeding on the road.

Someone reported that about eight Glacier High School students were planning to fight at various locations around the county. Officer checked the locations and found nothing suspicious.

A man on Deerfoot Trail reported that his son assaulted him two weeks ago.

A five-year-old child on Solberg Drive called 911 to report that his or her parents were fighting. The couple was counseled and separated for the night.
