Cashius Marc Logan, 7 months

| March 26, 2011 2:00 AM

Our sweet baby, Cashius Marc Logan, 7 months, of Great Falls, lost his fight with cancer on March 21, 2011, in Seattle.

A viewing will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 28, followed by a service at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at Schnider Funeral Home.

He was born Aug. 6, 2010, in Great Falls to parents Jesse Nichols and Brady Logan. Cashius was a fighter from the start, having gone through two surgeries and being diagnosed with a brain tumor by the time he was only 1 month old. He spent the next six and a half months of his life in and out of Children's Hospital, undergoing eight additional surgeries and five rounds of chemotherapy.

His short life transformed both of his parents and touched the lives of countless people. We are grateful to have witnessed his incredible will to live. He was named after his daddy's favorite fighter, and he proved to be an inspiration to all who came in contact with him. We are truly blessed to have had him for as long as we did. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Cashius is survived by his parents, Jesse and Brady; his maternal grandparents, Larry Nichols of Great Falls, and Len and Shelley Smith of Kalispell; paternal grandparents, Rick Logan of Havre, and Rich and Debbie Rossberg of Great Falls; great-grandparents, Helen Palagi, and Phillip and Dorothy Johnson; sister, Alexis Logan; aunts and uncles, Jason and Lindsey Nichols, Charles Sonsteng, Travis Whitish, Tyler Logan, Tristine Logan, Anthony Holloway, Jeff and Kasey Bury, Cameron and Heather Guilliams, and Flint and Hilary Baker; cousins, Luc, Sophie, Grayson, Dante, Rhianna, Ayziah, Kaylee, Jayden and Jacoby; as well as many great-aunts and great-uncles, and second and third cousins.

Donations may be made in Cashius' name to his website, www.babycashius.com, or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
