The public is invited to the annual spring meeting for the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex on Saturday, April 9, in Choteau.

The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Choteau Public Library.

The complex, an area of more than 1.5 million acres, includes the Great Bear, Bob Marshall and Scapegoat wilderness areas.

The complex is managed by four national forests: Flathead, Helena, Lewis and Clark, and Lolo national forests.

For more than 20 years this meeting has taken place to share information among the various agencies and organizations that hold responsibilities related to the wilderness complex and the public.

Representatives from the U.S. Forest Service, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation will be present.

For more information, contact Spotted Bear District Ranger Deb Mucklow at 758-3851 or visit www.fs.fed.us/r1/flathead/wilderness/bmwcomplex.shtml.
