Elliott Clinton Schnee, 52

Elliott Clinton Schnee, 52, of Great Falls, died of natural causes and "went to be with the Lord" on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Treasure State Group Home in Great Falls.

Smokey, as he was affectionately called by his grandfather Ted, was born July 5, 1958, in Cut Bank, where he was raised. His desire to thrive had helped him live far beyond all expectations for his medical condition.

He enjoyed listening to music and was involved with Easter Seals.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Schnee, of Great Falls; a sister, Lisa, and Steve DeMars of Kalispell; and brothers, Mike and Lenette Schnee of Whitefish, Mark and Katie Schnee of Kalispell, John and Sarah Schnee of Boise, Idaho, and Tom Schnee of Great Falls.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Schnee.

Cremation took place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home, with burial of ashes to be held at a later date.
