Peggy Ann Thompson, 43, died March 25, 2011, at her home in Walla Walla, Wash.

Peggy was born November 11, 1967, in Whitefish to Lloyd and Shirley Mathwig. She graduated from high school in Bigfork.

On Nov. 2, 1991, she and Timothy Eugene Thompson married in Bigfork.

Peggy was a loving, devoted wife and mother and always looked for ways to meet the needs of others. She had a very lengthy battle with cancer which she fought with great courage and determination. She had a strong trust in her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, which she lovingly shared and lived out before others.

She was very talented at doing many kinds of fine handwork as a hobby, and enjoyed selling some at craft shows and making gifts for family and friends. She had many family friends who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly for now.

"But someday we will be together again. Praise God!"

She was owner of Helping Hand Senior Assistance and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Tim Thompson, and their four children, Dominic, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Katherine Thompson; her parents, Lloyd and Shirley Mathwig; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Walter and Amanda, Lonnie, Everett and Patti, and Jacob and Kay Mathwig; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at First Baptist Church of Bigfork.

Memorials in Peggy's name may be made to The Gideons International.
