Justin Lee Lockwood, 25

| March 30, 2011 2:00 AM

Justin Lee Lockwood “went to be with his Grandma Marsha” on March 1, 2011. He was 25 years old.

Justin was born on May 31, 1985, in Ronan to Molly Lynn Holmes and Daniel Lee Lockwood Jr. He was born with beautiful, big blue eyes and a wonderful happy smile that brightened the world around him.

Justin started school in Ronan, then moved with his family to Charlo where he made many lifelong friends. He had an especially great relationship with his little sister, Megan. He participated in basketball and football in grade school, but his greatest joy as a youth was baseball. He excelled as a shortstop, catcher and pitcher. He made the 10-year-old all-star team when he was only 8 years old.

As an adult, Justin enjoyed bowling and golfing, especially when he could beat Will, and he threw a mean dart. Justin’s real passion in life was hunting and fishing and talking about it with family and friends. He lived for catching or bagging “The Big One!” He was completely happy and at peace in the Montana outdoors.

Justin is survived by his mother, Molly, and Will Rogers; father, Daniel Lockwood; stepfather Brooke, and Nan Harriman; sister, Megan Harriman, and Sackett; brothers, McKenzie and Amanda Harriman, and Lane Harriman; grandfather, Tim Holmes; grandfather, Dan, and Linda Lockwood; numerous other grandparents; great-grandparents; uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers and sisters; and many good friends who loved him so very much.

He was preceded in death by his best buddy, Grandma Marsha Holmes.

A cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held this summer when we can together celebrate Justin’s love for life and the great outdoors.

“We miss you Justin Lee!”
