Uninvited guest takes over doghouse

A Flathead County Sheriff’s Office animal-control officer took a stray dog to a shelter after the animal “took over” a doghouse belonging to someone on Foy’s Canyon Road.

A dirt bike was reported stolen on River Road.

On Montana 35 in Bigfork, a caller said a neighbor drained a swamp area on her property thus flooding the caller’s yard.

Fraud was alleged on Monte Vista Way outside Columbia Falls where a woman said someone was using her credit card without permission.

A woman was arrested after allegedly fighting with her teenage daughter during an argument at a home on Spring Creek Drive.

Someone stole a rifle from a business on U.S. 2 East.

Wood was stolen from outside a home on King’s Loop.

A caller on Platte Road in Coram reported criminal mischief after discovering that a sign reading “private property” had been removed.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at a church on East Evergreen Drive.

Deputies were unable to find a man who drove away from a business on U.S. 2 East in Coram after allegedly stealing items.

A man on Ferndale Drive in Bigfork was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after threatening to commit suicide. His mother told officials he does it all the time, normally as a way of getting electronic equipment he wants.

A teenage girl was taken home after a deputy saw her hiding in a ditch on Helena Flats Road. She said she had sneaked out for the night.

A man on Wettington Drive said someone he allowed to go to his house arrived to find the man’s neighbor in the home without permission. The homeowner reported that several items were missing.

Kalispell Police Department officers arrested a 30-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man for theft of services after they left a restaurant on East Idaho Street without paying their bill.

A man on Mallard Drive said he found needles on his property after a group of juveniles left and that he suspects they might have broken his mailbox as well.

On Third Avenue East North, a man said he found what appears to be cocaine in his car, which was locked in a garage.

Suspicious activity was reported on South Main Street where a caller saw a man rummaging through two cars. An officer learned the vehicles belonged to the man.

A highly intoxicated man with a beer in his hand fell down while attempting to order a movie at a business on West Idaho Street. He was gone when an officer arrived.

A caller reported seeing a man jumping on vehicles, throwing traffic cones and being otherwise disorderly in the parking lot of a business on East Idaho Street. He was told to leave the area.

A man at a business on U.S. 93 South reported that three teenage boys asked him to buy them alcohol.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on First Avenue West.

Medication was stolen from a business on Merganser Drive.

Also on Merganser Drive, a caller said someone knocked on his or her door and left a plastic bird on the doorstep.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass after a caller reported seeing him pushing a barbecue away from a business on East Idaho Street.
