Glen Russell Ketcham, 78

Glen Russell Ketcham, 78, passed away on April 19, 2011, at the Whitefish Care and Rehabilitation Center in Whitefish.

He was born on Sept. 6, 1932, in Manistee, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, and father Russell Ketcham.

He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Willardson, of Wyoming; his grandsons, Cpl. Scott “Cory J.” Willardson, who is stationed in San Diego, and Kyle Willardson of Whitefish; granddaughters, Lindsay Willardson of Wyoming, and Destiny and Ashley Willardson of Colorado.

Glen proudly served in the United States Army and faced combat during the Korean War. He was injured and endured years of rehabilitation. Through his recovery, he found passion in fishing the lakes of Utah and enjoyed camping with friends and family.

He later relocated with his family to Coram. He was very creative and found enjoyment in woodworking and crafts. Glen was always up for a “cold one” and loved to socialize with this friends. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 7, at the Dew Drop Inn in Coram, where he will be honored with a 21-gun salute and a flag presentation. The salute will start at 2:30 p.m. and be followed by a potluck. Please come and share your stories and memories of Glen.
