Glenn Wehe

Seeking three-year term representing Columbia Falls, Bigfork and Whitefish high school districts on FVCC board.

Occupation: technical coordinator for Evergreen School District.

Background/Education: 30 years in the financial industry working for firms such as Merrill Lynch. Ran his own computer consulting business. Has worked 11 years in the Evergreen School District. Volunteers as a firefighter and hazards management team member.

Reason for Running:  Wehe said he decided to run to give voters a choice beyond the two incumbents.

He said he wants future elections to include more notice of vacancies and filing deadlines. Wehe said he brings a thorough knowledge of school operations and management expertise to help the college in budgeting areas.

Wehe said the success of the school was evident but there is room for enhancement.
