Michael Hebert

Seeking two-year term representing Flathead/Glacier High School District on FVCC board.

Occupation: Farmers Insurance Group agent

Background/Education: U.S. Army veteran. Associate’s degree in communication from Flathead Valley Community College. He said he comes from a family of educators.

Reason for Running: As a former student, Hebert said he has many contacts throughout the college and sees it as a place where people can transform their lives. 

He said he has an open ear and an ability to connect with people. He said he wants to become the voice of the people on the board, see the college prosper and continue to provide educational opportunity to all.

 Hebert said his vision is to see the college put Kalispell on the map as a model of excellence in education, entrepreneurship, accreditation, certification and career enhancement.
