Seeking two-year term representing Flathead/Glacier High School District on FVCC board.

Occupation: attorney in private practice in Kalispell.

Background/Education: B.A. from University of West Florida. Juris doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Alabama. Served as a prosecuting attorney in Florida and has been in private practice since 2006.

Reason for Running: Baldwin quotes Thomas Jefferson's statement that “education is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional powers.” 

Baldwin said education is the most crucial element of a successful  life. He cites the competition of ideas and synergy of human effort as moving a people or college forward, “tilling the fertile soil in which the process of education can thrive.”

He said he wants to help make the community college such a place.
