Window-breaking spree reported

Officers from the Kalispell Police Department responded to Third Avenue East at 6:46 a.m. Sunday after someone smashed a vehicle's windows with a baseball bat. The owner of the vehicle tried to break up a fight between a man and a woman Saturday night, and woke up Sunday to find his windows broken.

The windows and the sunroof of an orange Pontiac Grand Am were busted out and all four tires flattened sometime Saturday night. The auto was on U.S. 93 South. A woman was taken to the hospital.

A woman called to report that another woman hit her Saturday night at a store. The caller reported that the woman also broke the windows in her boyfriend's truck.

Someone broke into a home on Fifth Avenue West and possibly stole a check.

A parent reported that a neighbor girl kept calling and harassing another child on Fifth Avenue East at 2 p.m. Saturday. The children were ages 10 and 13. Parents were counseled.

A woman reported that her narcotics were found in a roommate's bag on Second Avenue East at 4:11 p.m. Saturday.

A woman reported that a neighbor woman assaulted her on Greatview Drive at 9:21 p.m. Saturday after they got into an argument about where the reporting party's children were playing football. Parties were counseled.

A 64-year-old man who had been drinking and making threats was arrested on Sixth Avenue West at 10:53 p.m. Saturday.

A 24-year-old woman said a man assaulted her on East Idaho Street at 11:47 p.m. Saturday. The parties had been drinking. The woman had a $400 arrest warrant from the Kalispell Police Department.

Subjects left a restaurant on East Idaho Street without paying $21 at 1:27 a.m. Sunday.

A Pontiac Grand Am was struck by another vehicle Saturday night on U.S. 2 West, and a license plate from a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was left on the ground next to the Pontiac. The sport utility vehicle was registered to a Missoula man.

Lake County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man for breaking a windshield and threatening another man with a knife at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at Salish Kootenai College housing.

A woman reported that someone stole tools from her ex-husband's shed on Alley Lane in Charlo at 12:46 a.m. Saturday.

An Arlee woman reported that someone used her debit card to withdraw money from her checking account at 1:13 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies responded after a Ferndale man reported that he wanted another man removed from his residence on Market Road.

Drugs were turned in to a Ronan pharmacy at 3:14 p.m. Saturday.

Someone backed into a Polson Police Department patrol car at a lounge parking lot at 12:49 a.m. Saturday.

Someone backed into a vehicle and fled the scene at 1:26 a.m. Saturday in Polson.

Polson police officers arrested a 31-year-old man for driving under the influence at 2:07 a.m. Saturday at a gas station.

Police separated some women who were arguing in a gas station's restroom at 2:13 a.m. Saturday.

A Polson man reported that his daughter's boyfriend called at 2:51 p.m. Saturday despite a no-contact order being in place.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence after she left a liquor store and struck a guardrail with her vehicle at 10:31 p.m. Saturday.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers responded to an injury accident at mile marker 46 on U.S. 2 in Lincoln County at 9:15 a.m. Sunday.

An injury accident was reported on Montana 40 near Whitefish Stage Road at 6:10 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers responded to a fight on Spokane Avenue at 2:28 a.m. Sunday.
