Bradford leads Eureka girls to Lincoln County track title

EUREKA - Jasmine Bradford won four individual events to lead Eureka to the team title in the annual Lincoln Country track meet on Tuesday.

Bradford won the 100 hurdles (17.20), high jump (5-0), long jump (14-3 1/2) and triple jump (31-9 1/2).

The Eureka girls flirted with the century mark in team scoring, finishing with 93 points. The Lions won 14 of 16 events (the 3,200 was not run).

Emily Billow won three events for Eureka - discus (97-11), javelin (78-1) and shot put (30-0).

Jen Miller dominated the sprints with firsts in the 100 (13.10) and 200 (28.60) and Eureka teammate Bailey Malecha won the 400 (1:03.90) and 800 (2:33.20).

Miller, Malecha and Stevi Johnson ran on both winning relays.

Bradford ran on the 1,600 relay.

Kody Berget of Libby and Cody Orr of Troy were the standouts on the boys side.

Berget took firsts in the 100 (11.20), 110 hurdles (15.90) and 300 hurdles (40.80).

Orr had meet-best efforts in the 1,600 (5:01.40), long jump (20-2) and triple jump (40-11 1/4).

Libby easily won the boys title with a 112 1/2 total. Troy, 49 1/2, was second.

Libby won 10 events, including both relays.
