This fiberglass resin sculpture of the Buddha was crafted in three months by Bigfork artist Sunti Pichetchaiyakul.

Cam Linh Vu, third from left, and others from the Linhson Temple in Belmont, Mich., say thanks to Erica and Sunti Pichetchaiyakul after a blessing ceremony for a new Buddha sculpture on Tuesday morning in Bigfork. The Buddha is destined for the Michigan temple. “We have no words for how grateful we are,” said Cam Linh Vu. “We cannot thank Sunti enough for his contribution to our temple. We are so fortunate to receive the work of such a talented artist. He truly has created a unique and individualized sculpture of Buddha for our temple and our community.”
