Marvin Johnson, 85
Marvin Johnson, 85, passed away of natural causes, on May 2, 2011, in Kalispell.
He was born on July 18, 1925, to Per and Esther Johnson in Gresham, Ore.
He served as a Merchant Marine during World War II, and was a lifetime VFW member.
Marvin was retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad. He enjoyed golf, bowling and going to car races.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edwin Johnson.
Marvin is survived by one son, Craig Johnson, and Heidi, of Spokane; one stepson, Larry England, and Robin, of Columbia Falls; two stepdaughters, Sandra Pennecard and Dale, and Pamela Fenton, all of Boise, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His remains will be taken home to Gresham where a private family service will be held.
