Columbia Falls boys, Whitefish girls on top at NWA divisional track

POLSON - The Columbia Falls boys and Whitefish girls are leading the way after the first day of the Northwestern A divisional track meet.

Derrick Williams won the 1,600, Daniel Jones won discus and the Wildcats totaled 81.5 points.

Jessica Sagen won the 1,600, Marlow Schulz was first in the 400, the short relay team took first and the Whitefish girls tallied 86.

Logan Harwood won a tight 400 and the Whitefish boys are in second with 42 points. Zion Lee took first in the pole vault and Polson sits in third with 41.5. Kody Berget of Libby won the 100 hurdles and the Loggers are fourth with 26 points.

Breanne Kelley won the girls 100 hurdles and two-time defending champion Polson is in second with 54 points. Myka Forster won the pole vault and Libby is third with 29 points.

The divisional concludes today.
