LIBBY - For Polson's girls and Libby's boys, it was just like last year.

Both teams defended their titles over the weekend at the Northwestern A divisional tennis tournament.

Polson, which has now won five-straight divisional crowns, used a 1-2-3 finish in singles (Kendyall Rochin, Whitney Zimmerman and Sara Robinson) and a second in doubles (Kenzie Clay and Jordan Quinn) for a 74-point total in the three-day event, which ended Saturday.

Columbia Falls, led by doubles champs Marissa Getts and Lexie Bartkoski, was second with 36.

The Libby boys, 48 points, held off Polson, 43, to repeat as champs. The Loggers dominated singles, placing 1-2-4 (Cree Maloney, Alex Cislo and Crawford Dinning).

Polson had the boys doubles champs (Justin Evertz and Will Davey).

The top four finishers advance to state, which begins Thursday in Great Falls.
