James 'Dan' Crowley, 67

James “Dan” Crowley, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Brendan House in Kalispell.

Dan was born on July 31, 1943, in Butte, to Jack and Dulcie Crowley. He was raised in Butte, where he attended and graduated from Butte High School.

He married Mary Alice Combo on April 4, 1964, in Butte. He worked as a mechanic most of his life.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dulcie Crowley; and a daughter, Elizabeth Crowley.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Alice Crowley, of Kalispell; two sons, Dan Crowley and wife, Peggy Jean, of Prattville, Ala., and Jerry Crowley and wife, Christina, of Kalispell; one brother, John Crowley and wife, Janet, of Tukwila, Wash.; grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Crowley of Prattville, Samantha and Joseph Crowley, and Riley Calbick, all of Kalispell, and Rosie Crowley of Butte; and numerous relatives in Butte and in the Seattle area.

A rosary will be said at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, and Mass will follow the rosary at 12:10 p.m.; both will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. A reception will follow the Mass. Babysitting will be provided.

Memorials in Dan's name are requested to be given to the Dialysis Center or the Diabetic Center, both in Kalispell.
