Loggers rip Mariners

LIBBY - Jared Winslow's perfect streak on the mound continued and Tate Wilson went 7-for-7 with 6 RBI on the day as Libby picked up two impressive legion baseball victories on Saturday.

Winslow started the second game of a doubleheader against the Mission Valley Mariners B team and was perfect through three innings. He left after meeting his coach's planned pitch-count. Winslow has now gone 11 straight innings without giving up a hit or walk. His earned-run-average is .075.

The hot-hitting Loggers defeated the Mariners 15-2 and 10-0.

Libby (7-7 overall, 1-0 in conference) takes on the Glacier Twins A at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday in Whitefish. The nine-inning game was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was moved.
