Libby beats Kootenai Valley

LIBBY - Micah Germany tripled during a 4-for-4 day at the plate as Libby rolled to a 19-4 Class A American Legion baseball victory over the Kootenai Valley Rangers on Thursday.

Libby (9-7 overall, 3-0 league) scored in every inning but the fifth. The Loggers' big inning was the sixth with eight runners crossing the plate.

Tate Wilson continues to swing a hot bat for the Loggers, going 3-for-5. He had the team's other extra base hit with a double.

Wilson has 10 hits in his last 14 trips to the plate.

Libby plays the Mission Valley A Mariners on Saturday in Polson. The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
