Alleged beer bottle assailant busted

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an intoxicated woman at a home on Village Lane in Bigfork at about 3 a.m. Friday after she allegedly broke into the house and assaulted a man with a beer bottle.

A man was arrested at a business on Montana 35 in Bigfork early Thursday morning when an employee reported he was acting intoxicated and sitting in his vehicle.

Someone stole a laptop computer from a home on Bierney Creek Road in Lakeside.

On Gopher Lane in Marion, a dog was picked up and taken to a shelter after it reportedly killed a woman’s chickens.

A caller on Park Avenue wanted advice on how to deal with an unwanted family member who refuses to leave his home.

Several burglaries were reported in a neighborhood off Big Mountain Road near Whitefish Thursday.

Parents of a 5-year-old boy picked him up after he allegedly got physical with teachers at a school on Helena Flats Road.

Someone driving a black truck reportedly stole a meal from a restaurant on U.S. 2 West near Kalispell.

Shirts, shoes, a camera and other items were stolen from a motel room about a week ago on U.S. 2 East in Hungry Horse, according to a caller.

The Kalispell Police Department and a medical team were dispatched to a home on East Idaho Street after a man reported that he was feeling “weird” after smoking marijuana Thursday evening. He said he also smoked a cigarette and thought that perhaps the nicotine was to blame.

On North Main Street, a man reported that he took a ring to a jewelry store to have a diamond placed and suspects that employees replaced his diamond with an inferior one.

A woman on Canvasback Court reported arriving home to find muddy footprints in her home, although nothing was missing.
