Threatening note found on sidewalk
Kalispell Police said someone found a threatening note on the sidewalk somewhere between Glacier High School and McDonald’s shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday. The note allegedly threatened hospital workers because a woman died of an infection. The note also allegedly threatened a lawsuit.
A report was filed at 1:03 p.m. Sunday after a woman said that another woman kept calling her son in the hospital pretending to be his girlfriend. The mother alleged that a doctor released information to a non-family member.
A man reportedly assaulted a woman and took $500 from her on North Main Street at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Four juvenile males were detained for shoplifting on First Avenue East North at 8:07 p.m. Saturday. They were released to their parents.
Two customers absconded with two carts of groceries on Third Avenue East North at 8:24 p.m. Saturday.
A woman reported that the man she was traveling with from Spokane to Great Falls left her in Kalispell and took her clothes and wallet.
A juvenile female was reportedly shoplifting at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on First Avenue East North. The girl was later fighting in the manager’s office.
A man reportedly beat up a woman and assaulted a witness at 1:30 p.m. Sunday near Willow Glen Drive. The man left in a red Chevy Lumina.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded after a man beat up a woman near a Pablo bar at 1 a.m. Sunday. The woman was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Ronan.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for partner-family member assault following a fight with his father on Timberlane Road in Ronan at 1:54 a.m. Saturday. The report listed cuts and broken bones.
Sheriff’s deputies recovered a woman’s vehicle after two men took off with it on Turtle Lake Road at 7 a.m. Saturday.
Three women reported Saturday that their vehicles were broken into in Polson. One was missing a wallet and checkbook.
A woman reported that her bicycle was stolen on 11th Avenue East in Polson on Saturday.
An apparently intoxicated man was arrested on U.S. 93 near mile marker 46 at 10:27 p.m. Saturday. The man was wanted on a warrant out of Lake County.
Montana Highway Patrol responded to a report of someone driving under the influence at 4:18 p.m. Saturday on Montana 206 near mile marker 1.
A hit-and-run accident was reported on U.S. 93 near the Flathead and Lake county border at 3:28 p.m. Saturday.
