Class AA honors volleyball players

Several local athletes were honored this week for

their efforts on the Class AA volleyball courts.

The Western AA All-Conference first team includes

Flathead’s Hannah Sackett, outside hitter, Kwyn Johnson, right side

hitter and Glacier’s Lexy Boschee, outside hitter.

On the second team are Glacier’s Cassi Hashley,

middle hitter, setter Hannah Liss, and libero Emily Gilbertson and

Flathead’s Timi Severson, middle hitter and Alison Lunde,

setter.

Honorable mention honorees were Flathead’s Kylie

Schlegel, right side hitter, setter Emily Russell and defensive

specialist Amy Snipstead of Glacier.

Helena High defeated Billings Senior in the Nov.

10-12 Class AA state championship. The Bengals had to beat the

Broncs twice in two five-set matches.
