Multiple car accidents reported

Winter weather continues to be an issue in Flathead County and Lake County, resulting in a multitude of vehicular accidents. Flathead County logged 24 accidents between 6:54 a.m. Friday and 2:15 p.m. Saturday, while Lake County logged 37 accidents between 12:31 a.m. and 6:21 p.m. on Friday alone.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a woman who believed she was sexually assaulted after having been knocked unconscious on U.S. 93 South and waking up with her pants undone.

It was reported a woman’s ex-boyfriend slashed her tires, rammed her car with his vehicle and pulled a rifle on her before leaving her home on Eighth Street West.

A fight between two men, one a customer and one an employee, was reported at a bar on Woodland Park Drive. The employee was bleeding from his mouth after the fight.

A man who was caught shoplifting at a supermarket on First Avenue East North reported that he wanted to press assault charges against an employee who tackled him in the store. He claimed to have pain in his neck but declined an ambulance, saying he would drive himself to the hospital.

A man was apprehended by employees after attempting to steal a case of beer from a store on First Avenue East.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen vehicle on Trumble Creek Road in Evergreen.

A burglary was reported on Wettington Drive in Kalispell.

A theft was reported on Shelter Valley Drive in Kalispell.

A theft was reported on Battle Hollow Avenue in Somers.

A theft was reported on Holt Drive in Bigfork.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of assault on East Seventh Street.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office located a driver without a valid driver’s license after responding to an accident near Old Freight Road.
