Kathryn Sadie (Loraas) Moore, 58

Kathryn Sadie (Loraas) Moore, 58, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, in Kalispell.

Kathryn was born in Kalispell on Oct. 4, 1953, to Richard and Valora Loraas. She was raised with two brothers and three sisters.

Kathryn attended Flathead High School and later attended Kalispell Beauty School. She was married when she was 17 and had her only daughter.

Kathy was a bright light to our family. She loved to fish, hunt, camp, bowl and play horseshoes. She had a great time with everyone who knew her. She was a very delightful and funny woman, a great sister, mother, grandmother and daughter. She had a special place in her heart for Jeff Gordon, SpongeBob SquarePants and all her great witches.

She will never leave our hearts and minds; there will always be a part of her in all of us. She will be greatly missed and none of us will ever be the same without her.

She leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Jackie Chapman; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Aryel; brother, Brian; sisters, Sue, Lorie, and Tammy; her father, Richard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also Gary Krause, with whom she spent the last 12 years of her life, and his family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky; her mother, Valora; and grandparents, Lloyd and Frances Landon, and Helmer and Sadie Loraas.

Services for Kathryn were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at the Eagle Lodge in Columbia Falls.
