Man goes to prison for fourth DUI

A Bigfork man was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to his fourth DUI as well as a charge of felony criminal endangerment.

After his vehicle was reported to Montana Highway Patrol on Feb. 26, 2010, Russell Prout was found passed out in the car in his driveway. Prout failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Along with his incarceration, Prout was ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and $235 in surcharges.

His prior convictions for DUI came in July 1995, November 1996 and September 1998.
