Woman charged after driving into house

Kalispell Police arrested a woman, 40, for drunk driving after she drove her vehicle into a residence on Bruyer Way at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday. The woman was reportedly cooperative and it didn't appear anyone was hurt.

There was a report of someone rifling through a vehicle on Seventh Avenue East, with some items being taken.

A stolen vehicle was located on Empire Loop. The vehicle was reported stolen from Trumble Creek Road on Nov. 18, and the Flathead County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Responding to a report of a woman being kicked and punched by a man on College Avenue at about 11:30 p.m., officers stopped the man as he was driving on Collier Lane. The man, 21, was arrested for drunk driving, possession of drugs and paraphernalia, partner-family member assault and destruction of a communication. The woman was transported to the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Early Monday, at about 12:30 a.m., there was a report of an intoxicated man attempting to kick in the door of his wife's home on Fourth Avenue West. The man was taken to his mother's residence for the night.

There was a report of a vehicle being broken into on Northridge Drive, but nothing was taken.

A wallet was reported stolen from vehicle on Second Avenue West.

A set of butcher knives and a pack of cigars were reported stolen from a vehicle on Fifth Street West.

There was a report of a $1,000 rifle being stolen from a vehicle on Appleway Drive.

There was a report of an a man approaching and harassing customers at a business on Fifth Avenue West. The man was counseled and told not to return to the business.


The Flathead County Sheriff's Office got a call Sunday from Alpha Road in Hungry Horse regarding a man who wanted to report a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He called after showing up at North Valley Hospital for treatment earlier in the day.

There was a report of locks missing from storage units at a business on Montana 35 in the Bigfork area.

A teenage girl was detained for shoplifting from a business on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen.

There was a report of someone trying to break into a storage shed on Ashley Lake Road.

A man calling from a Hodgson Road address reported that his intoxicated ex-girlfriend stole a cat that belonged to both of them. The man eventually got the cat back.
