Intruder found with bloody hands

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested a man after he was apprehended by a homeowner when he broke into the home. The man had broken glass in a door and several windows. He had been drinking and his hands were bloody.

A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for traffic violations after officers responded to a report off a fight on First Street East between two roommates. He was transported to the Flathead County Detention Center.

A woman was arrested after officers responded to a car with all its airbags deployed and the keys still in the ignition that had been abandoned on Stillwater Road near Four Mile Drive. The woman is not believed to have been the driver. She was transported to the Flathead County Detention Center.

A man was cited and released after being apprehended at a gas station on U.S. 93 South after he allegedly tried to steal an item, then put it back and continued acting weirdly.

A man was cited and released after it was reported that he was standing outside a business on West Idaho Street trying to sell movies and CDs believed to be stolen, claiming he was trying to get gas money to get to Missoula. When officers arrived, he was checking doors on vehicles in the parking lot of a nearby supermarket, and fled with another person. Officers were only able to apprehend one of them.

It was reported that a 10-year-old girl was approached by a car on Fifth Avenue East with several men in it and asked her if she wanted any candy. The incident is believed to have been a prank by teenagers.

A dirt bike was reported stolen from a garage on Seventh Street West.

Approximately $79 worth of gas was reported siphoned from a vehicle parked near Hutton Ranch Road.

It was reported that $16.30 worth of fuel was stolen by a car with no license plate from a gas station on East Idaho Street.

Clothes and other miscellaneous items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Fly Way.

Officers with the Whitefish Police Department made an arrest following investigation of an assault on East Second Street.

A theft was reported on Somers Avenue.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff's Office discovered a theft of vehicle parts or accessories after responding to a report of vandalism on McLeod Road.

Deputies investigated an abandoned vehicle at the bottom of Polson Hill believed to be involved in an incident of driving under the influence.
