Free variety show Dec. 2 helps free clinic
There’s something different about this year’s “Christmas in the Air” variety show on Friday, Dec. 2 — it’s free.
The annual show, a fundraiser for Shepherd’s Hand free clinic in Whitefish, showcases a variety of local talent. Organizer Cathy Relf said this year’s show is dedicated to the community for its support of Shepherd’s Hand through the years, and that in itself is a good reason to make it a free event.
A free-will offering will be taken, though, for anyone wanting to financially support the clinic.
The show begins at 7 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 5150 River Lakes Parkway in Whitefish.
Relf and Patty Markuson are co-producing the show; Dave Grady is the master of ceremony.
Performers include Erica Farone, Steve and Sue Hruza, Jon and Tami Miller, Ryan Trout, Marilyn Osborne and Erv Eid, Whitefish High School “Voce Primo” ensemble, Steve Stafford & Co., Amanda Caldwell, Luke Walrath, Thursday Nite Gang, Marlow Schultz & Co., Sarah Mitchell, Kai and Tracy Lindborg, Classic Touch, Carlene Prince and Nikki Frizzell.
Erik Dye will provide prelude Christmas music on the piano.
A slide show of Shepherd’s Hand program will play before the show begins and as it closes.
Coffee and fellowship follow in the church fellowship hall.
“Bring a friend and fill the church,” Relf said.
