Man pleads innocent to sex abuse

A 53-year-old Polebridge man pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of sexual abuse of children Wednesday in Flathead District Court.

According to charging documents, Ted Ramon showed a girl pornographic materials, offered her cigars, alcohol and drugs, took pornographic photos of her and molested her while she was between the ages of 8 and 10.

He also allegedly told her not to tell anyone or he would go to jail and her mother would be angry with her. He told a detective that nothing would have happened if she hadn’t come on to him sexually.

If convicted of all three charges, Ramon could face up to 300 years in prison and a fine of up to $150,000.
