Man pleads guilty to DUI

A 60-year-old Columbia Falls man pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving under the influence, a felony due to three prior convictions, during a change of plea hearing in Flathead County District Court.

John Cleveland was arrested when he failed field sobriety tests during a traffic stop on Feb. 6, 2011.

He already has been in jail for 10 months. Judge Stewart Stadler said he would face up to a 13-month sentence, so he will have little time to serve after his sentencing, which is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2012.
