Broken window, stolen rig at car lot

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding a broken window broken and a stolen truck from a car lot on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A man reported finding a dead cat that had apparently been shot in the head at a property on Rodeo Drive in the Columbia Falls area.

There was a report of a storage area on Caps Road broken into with items stolen.

There was a report of a vehicle broken into while parked at a Whitefish Stage Road church during services. There was a similar report from the same church only a few weeks ago.

A woman said her husband had “lost it” and driven a vehicle across a yard and into the timber off Montana 83 in the Bigfork area. It was determined to be a verbal dispute only.

A man calling from Lodgepole Road in the Whitefish area at about 8:15 p.m. reported witnessing a person shoot two deer and a fawn. The matter is under investigation by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

A woman calling from Grand Drive in Bigfork reported that her intoxicated husband had kicked in the door of her apartment and that he also attempted to force his way into her bathroom.

A man calling from a Terrace Hill address in Bigfork reported that his ex-girlfriend was trying to break the door down at his home to get belongings.

After a physical disturbance between a man and woman on Mountain View Drive, the man was arrested.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday morning regarding a theft of a purse from a bar on Airport Road.

There was a child abuse report involving a man allegedly wrapping a phone cord around a boy’s neck. No one was hurt, but the matter is under investigation.

There was a report of items stolen from a storage unit on Airport Road.

A person reported a window busted out of a vehicle and a purse stolen while the car was parked at a church on South Main Street.

There was a report of two youths breaking into a garage on Garland Street and stealing two cases of soft drinks.

There was a report of several vehicles egged on Seventh Avenue East.

There was a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle while parked on South Main Street.

Several items were reported stolen from a storage unit on Third Avenue East.

A man was arrested after a traffic stop on Fifth Avenue West Sunday at about 10 p.m.

At about 1:40 a.m. Monday, two teenage boys were detained after officers responded to a report of suspicious people looking into vehicles on North Main Street.

There was a report of a burglary at a building on U.S. 2 West, with the perpetrators apparently gaining entry through roof tiles.

There was a report of a storage unit broken into on North Meridian Road.

An iPod and charger were reported stolen from a vehicle on Fifth Avenue East.
