Assaulted man taken to hospital

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a 56-year-old man being assaulted by several people behind a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen at around 5 a.m. Sunday. The man had to be transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A woman reported that she left her vehicle behind a bar on Electric Avenue in Bigfork Saturday night and returned Sunday morning to find it was missing. The vehicle was later located south of Bigfork near the home of a man who claimed he did not know how the vehicle got there.

There was a report of a ruckus on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse involving a man who was throwing wood at the reporting party and her mother. The man reportedly kicked down the door of their home and then kicked down the door of his own home. The parties apparently separated at some point.

A 9-year-old boy called from a residence off Montana 206 in the Columbia Falls area to report that his intoxicated stepdad was shooting at him and another boy with a paintball gun. The log entry concludes that boy boys were fine and had not been shot with paintballs.

A woman calling from U.S. 2 west of Kalispell reported that her ex-boyfriend had broken into her storage unit and taken some of her belongings.

There was a report of a conflict between a Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks warden and an aggressive man in the Bigfork area off of Montana 83. The situation was eventually resolved without incident.

There was a report of three aggressive dogs chasing people in the Harmony Road area in Evergreen.

A woman calling from Ranch Lane in the Kalispell area reported that a black bear was on her porch. The bear eventually left on its own.

There was a report of a laptop computer stolen from a vehicle on Martin Lane in the Columbia Falls area.

A woman calling from a residence off U.S. 93 South of Whitefish reported that she wanted a disorderly, intoxicated man to leave the residence but he refused to do so.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday from a person renting a shop on East Center Street who said all of the hubcaps had been stolen off his van sometime Saturday night.

There was a report of a highly intoxicated, disorderly man on Third Avenue East North.

Early Monday, at about 5 a.m., there was a report of suspicious people hanging out in the reporting party’s yard on Third Avenue West North. A porch light was broken, and there was a nearby vehicle with a broken window.

There was a report of a city vehicle keyed in the area of Second Street East and First Avenue East.

There was a report of a window smashed out of a vehicle on Second Avenue East North.

There was a report of two windows shot out of a vehicle with BB gun on North Main Street.

There was a report of a window broken out of a van on Sixth Avenue East North.

Both sides of a vehicle were keyed on First Avenue East.

There were reports of businesses vandalized with graffiti on Eighth Avenue West North and Third Street East.
