Mum's the word about Martin City mayhem

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on Second Street South in Martin City after a caller reported that a man had broken windows out of a vehicle and head-butted a woman at about 12:05 a.m. Thursday. When deputies arrived, no one would talk to them about the incident.

A motorcycle was reported stolen by someone on U.S. 2 West Wednesday morning.

A dog reportedly bit a woman near her groin Wednesday on Osborn Avenue in Bigfork at about 11 a.m.

Someone stole a computer, coins and cash from a home on Pleasant Lane.

Harassment was alleged by a man on U.S. 2 East who accused his neighbors of throwing rocks at his house and stealing from him.

A lawnmower was stolen from a home on Adams Street in Lakeside.

Two wallets were stolen after someone broke a window out of a vehicle parked near Pacific Park in Bigfork Wednesday at about 4 p.m.

Four partial hypodermic needles were reportedly found scattered on the ground on a bicycle path near South Hilltop Road outside Columbia Falls.

A woman on Twin Lakes Road in Whitefish accused a neighbor of cutting the plastic on her green house.

Deputies were called to a home on Montana 209 in Bigfork after a woman wielding a hammer allegedly threatened to shoot people at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.’


The Kalispell Police Department received a report of harassment  from a man on Eighth Avenue West who said a neighbor put a note on his door threatening to harm the man’s dogs if they didn’t stop barking.

Two men who purchased a copier at a business on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday afternoon paid for it with a fraudulent check.

A wallet and cellphone were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Lawrence Park.

A two-door passenger car left the scene of a collision at the intersection of Meridian Drive and Two Mile drive at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle was said to have significant damage.

An officer cited a man for possession of drug paraphernalia after initially responding to a report of a physical disturbance inside a camper parked near a business on Hutton Ranch Road at about 6 a.m. Thursday.

Someone broke windows out of several vehicles at Glacier high School on Wolfpack Way, according to an 8 a.m. report.
