Conspicuous man with suspicious search

The Kalispell Police Department received a report after a man with orange dreadlocks was seen using a library-owned computer to search information on how to make methamphetamine Saturday at about 2:45 p.m. on First Avenue East.

A caller on South Woodland Drive said that a youth who had recently returned home after running away ran away again Friday.

Someone in Lawrence Park reported being punched in the face by an intoxicated woman Friday at about 7:30 p.m.

Youths were seen shooting pellet guns at other youths on Liberty Street Friday night. The parents of the victims reported the children had minor injuries, but the suspects were no- where to be found.

Two antique pistols were taken during an apparent burglary on Fifth Street West.

A 15-year-old boy on Ninth Avenue West who was reported as a runaway after skipping school refused to get in a friend’s vehicle after he was found.

Officers took a 61-year-old man in for a blood draw to determine his blood alcohol content after a traffic stop that was initiated when his vehicle was seen traveling in the wrong direction on Fourth Avenue East at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Suspicious activity was reported on Fifth Avenue East by a caller who said someone was banging on the door of a home and attempting to get inside. Officers found no suspects in the area.

A hit-and-run collision was reported at the intersection of Third Avenue East and 13th Street East after someone drove over a stop sign.

A woman on Seventh Street West accused her husband of stealing her prescription medication at 5:46 a.m. Saturday. She also said he was smoking marijuana.

A burglary was discovered at a building on Grandview Drive at about 7:20 a.m.

On 13th Street East, a caller complained that her landlord had moved her belongings out of a rental without permission. She also said a camera and computer were missing.

Two boys were seen jumping over a fence and illegally playing on slides at Woodland Park a little after 4 p.m. Saturday.

A woman on 10th Avenue West reported that an apparently homeless man had taken up residence in front of her home.

A bicycle was reported stolen on Fourth Avenue East.

An officer took a a small dog named Jack to a shelter after it wandered into a business on U.S. 93 North at about 4:25 p.m. Saturday.
