Caller reports car paintballed on U.S. 93

A caller told the Kalispell Police Department that his or her vehicle was paintballed while being driven along U.S. 93 South at about 9:53 p.m. Saturday night. The caller said no damage was done to the vehicle.

Another caller said his son was harassed after turning in kids who jumped the fence at a water park. When the caller went to pick the son up, the kids were extremely verbally abusive.

Officers confiscated some drugs and paraphernalia while out at Bootjack Lake.

A woman on U.S. 93 South told police that someone stole a 9mm handgun from her vehicle sometime in the last 48 hours.

Two females were cited for disorderly conduct at about 11 p.m. Saturday after police responded to a report of a fight at South Main Street and Third Street West.

Early Sunday morning, a bartender on U.S. 93 South reported to police that someone threw a wrench through the front door and broke it.

A man found walking down Getty Drive was arrested after a caller reported seeing him steal a BMX bike out of a neighbor's truck. The bike was found and returned to its owner.

A man and a woman were asked to move along after someone reported them sleeping by the portable toilets at the Community Garden.

A caller on Eighth Avenue East told police that someone had placed a street sign in her yard.

Someone on North Main Street reported ongoing problems with a male shoplifter. The caller said the man, who is in his mid-20s, steals items and then has a female return them.

Later in the afternoon, someone on Whitefish Stage reported money stolen from a vehicle parked at a church.

A caller on U.S. 93 North reported that a purse had been left in a cart. The purse was found, but was missing $300 and a Social Security card.


Someone reported suspicious activity at the Hungry Horse Ranger Station to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office at about 1:35 a.m. Sunday.

A theft was reported on Lower Valley Road.

At about 3:46 a.m., police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on East Idaho Street.


Someone reported a verbal disturbance on Highway 35 at about 5:42 a.m.

The Whitefish Police Department responded to report of criminal mischief on Baker Avenue at about 10:18 a.m. Saturday.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief on Park Avenue at about 2:15 p.m.

A verbal disturbance on Wisconsin Avenue was reported to police at about 6:39 p.m.

Later Saturday evening, police responded to a report of a hit and run on East Fifth Street.

On Sunday, police responded to a report of a verbal disturbance on Iowa Avenue at about 1:17 p.m.

Someone reported suspicious activity on Wisconsin Avenue later that afternoon.

Police responded to a report of a hit and run on JP Road at about 4:07 p.m.


The Polson Police Department responded to a report of residential burglary on Eighth Street East at about 8:29 a.m. Saturday.
