Kevin Richard 'Kevina' Kamerer, 25

| September 6, 2011 6:00 PM

Kevin Richard Kamerer passed away unexpectedly at Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. He was 25 years old.

Kevin was born in Canton, Ohio, to his mother Kris Kamerer on Nov. 12, 1985. His family moved to Hungry Horse in 1995 where Kevin attended Canyon Elementary School.

In 2000 Kevin attended Columbia Falls High School where he expressed his love for music by playing percussion in the Columbia Falls Concert Band.

On Aug. 24, 2004, Kevin became the proud father of his first-born son Kobi. On Aug. 31, 2006, Kevin was blessed with the birth of his second son Kaden.

At the time of his passing Kevin lived in Kalispell where he worked as a grounds foreman at the K2 Stone Rock Quarry.

Kevin enjoyed many activities in his life, including dancing, hiking, riding dirt bikes, drawing, music, playing pool, and spending time with friends and family. He loved being a dad more than anything in the world; often boasting about how his greatest accomplishment in life was being the father of two beautiful children.

Kevin had a fun-filled, mischievous personality, with a terrific sense of humor. He prided himself on always being able to put a smile on your face.  He was a kind and caring person full of love who continually put the needs of others before himself; especially his family.

He is survived by his mother, Kris Kamerer, of Hungry Horse; stepfather, Marty Anderson, of Watford City, N.D.; his sons, Kobi Sweeney of Hungry Horse and Kaden Kamerer of Kalispell; brother, Michael Kamerer, of Missoula; sister, Chantal Bane, of Hungry Horse; brother, Ryan Bane of Hungry Horse; nephew, Corbin Bane, of Hungry Horse; grandparents, Gary and Gloria Kamerer, of Louisville, Ohio; and uncle, Keith Kamerer, and family, of Canton.
